Mon, 12 March 2007 Joshua conquers the southern half of the land first, beginning with the city of Jericho. Later he would defeat the coalition of Canaanites at Hazor, and would be in possession of the entire land. At that point, the land was divided among all the tribes of Israel--with the exception of the Levites, who were dedicted to the Lord Himself.
